NBVOA is accepting independent contractor applications for the 2025 High School Girls' Volleyball Season.

New Applicants Only. Current NBVOA officials may be invited to re-apply in mid-April.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. High School Graduate.
2. Live in Northern California Area, primarily Sonoma, Marin, or Napa County.
3. Knowledge of Volleyball via either playing, coaching and/or officiating at the high school level or above.
4. Willing and able to meet ALL meetings, training and testing requirements that begin in August each year.
   No Expections!
5. Available to officiate volleyball most weekdays from 3:30pm to 9:00pm from August thru November each year.
6. Must be physically and mentally able to officiate volleyball matches.
7. Have own transportation to travel to/from assignments.
8. Act and be professional upon arrival at site, during and after volleyball matches.
9. Have no legal matters or issues revolving around or requiring to not be in the presence of children.
10. Have an email address and access to a computer and internet to access officials web site.
11. Have or obtain Liability Insurance either NFHS, NASO or PAVO.
12. Follow ALL NBVOA policies and procedures.
