ADMINISTRATOR IN CHARGE: Each school must have an Administrator-In-Charge unless a school is traveling more than 150 miles to the game site. The Site Director will contact the NCS Office if a team does not have an Administrator-In-Charge. The officials shall not begin the match until the Site Director has contacted the NCS Office and thereafter directs the officials to begin the contest. OFFICIAL MATCH BALL: The official ball for the 2025 school year will be the Spalding TF VB5 or any Spalding ball that meets the National Federation Volleyball Rules Book specifications. The game must be played with an official Spalding game ball. It does not have to be the ball given to each school but must be a Spalding volleyball. No other ball may be used. PENALTY FOR GAME BALL VIOLATION: NCS must be notified and will penalize the host school accordingly per NCS Policy. EJECTED PLAYERS / COACHES: The names and number(s) of the player(s) and the name of coaches who are ejected from the match must be reported to the association assigner within FOUR hours after the match. The association assigner will forward the report to the NCS Officials Liaison (Mike aaronian) within twenty-four (24) hours after the match. WARM-UPS: One hour prior to the match time, the court surface is open for warm-ups. Players may be on the playing surface to stretch, run or pass during this time. Use of the net will begin during the official 20-minute pre-match warm-up time. The 20-minute warm-up period shall be divided as follows: ... 1.
